Children's Literature Book Reviews / Nick and Norah's Infinite PlaylistThe contemporary realistic fiction novel Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a wonderful literary adventure that shows readers that in just one night, anything is possible. It starts off with Nick, after seeing his recent ex-girlfriend Tris at his band's show, simply asking the girl standing next to him if she wouldn't mind being his girlfriend for the next five minutes. This girl, being Norah, answered his question with an unexpected kiss. This kiss starts the roller coaster of a Saturday night for two teens in Manhattan, with twists and turns that constantly leave the reader wanting to know more about the five-minute couple of Nick and Norah. This book allows readers to tag along on Nick and Norah's first date, and watch them fall in and out and in and out of love with each other, and help one another be able to gain closure on previous heartbreaks. We are able to see how wonderful it is to be young and in love with the person standing right next to you, the moment you are in, and the song that is playing making the moment even more memorable. This novel takes place in the exciting world of Manhattan, and the night takes Nick and Norah all over Manhattan.

But the overuse of the bleeping word comes across to me as though the authors were trying too hard to make it sound like the voices were actual teenagers. Cause apparently, she realizes that Nick loves her too. Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. What could possibly go wrong.
