Good to stay in Luang Pravang! This was my first holiday in Laung Prabang. Summer was very quick in responding to my questions before I booked. The location is perfect for walking abound the city. Many restaurants close by. Also a very short tuk tuk via the airport. The free breakfast was spot on!
Terrible 2. Great place to take a break and have a snack and drink. The staff were excellent. I would love to stay here again the next time we are in Luang Prabang! Temples, mountains Mt.
As you might have guessed by the name of the establishment, this place is part bookshop and part teashop. It was the first bookshop to open in Luang Prabang. Some books are freely available on loan for local Lao! In the bookshop downstairs, you can both buy and borrow books, and they have everything from literary fiction to tourist guides to history books about Laos. Upstairs, you will find a teashop with low tables and loungers so that you can get really comfortable while losing yourself in a travel read. The upper floor is decorated with copies of National Geographic all around, and there is something about the yellow colour of the magazine against the dark wood. You can order delicious Lao and Western food, the staff are unbelievably friendly, and they screen a different movie every night at 7pm.
Totally recommend Bex TZ Great location in the city teq a relaxing environment by the river. Spacious, wooden house with sparse and carefully curated furniture. We stayed 4 nights instead of just 1. Movie night was also fun.
It is a place where you can experience the traditional Laotian life, an easy walk to the nearby restaurants at the Southeastern side of Mount Phuosi!
